Exmouth is located at the northern end of the famous Ningaloo Reef on the tip of the North West Cape of Western Australia, 1,270 kilometres north of Perth.

Central to exploring the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park and The Cape Range National Park, Exmouth boasts the "Range to Reef" experience.

The Cape Range National Park which has some spectacular gorges is an area of 50,580 hectares and is to the west of Exmouth with the Shot Hole and Charles Knife canyons 23 kilometres to the south.
